Insight Council is a forum where you as a member can not only address your day-to-day operational challenges in a substantially more effective way, but also develop your adaptive capacity through disciplined inquiry so that your business is better positioned to thrive in an increasingly complex 21st Century.
Adaptive capacity in leadership amounts to leading with wisdom - the ability to see what needs to be done and do it successfully without being told what to do. In other words, the ability to lead when neither you nor anyone else has ever been where you need to go.

Many leaders continue to rely on established methods, manuals or checklists (solutions for technical problems) to lead through adaptive challenges. And while these are helpful tools, they are well known, and they have never been sufficient in addressing complex problems.
Leadership challenges in the past had proportionately less complexity but we are now seeing the dawn of an era where high-stakes challenges are more and more adaptive in nature and proportionately less linear. Most leaders will continue to ignore this fact and stay with what is familiar to them. Unfortunately, failure to develop these capacities will result in businesses that are less and less relevant to their communities, their customers and their employees.
